There is a need for a short and clear presentation of the Wittgenstein estate. So one might ask how the topics that Wittgenstein dealt with in his series “Philosophical Remarks” are related in an argumentative manner. One could be interested in a substantive comparison of the central theses from different times and in their justifications or in incompatibilities, etc. To do this, one would have to present the contexts of the “Philosophical Remarks” without changing them. This would not be an interpretation of his philosophy, but merely a systematization. The following editing of the first 57 pages of MS 115, Volume XI of the “Philosophical Remarks”, beginning with entries of Wittgenstein in December 1933, are an attempt in this direction.

The text used is the “Diplomatic Version” of the estate processing, as made available by the Wittgenstein Archive on the Internet (115www). All the passages were included, including those deleted in various ways. Since the used PC program WinRelan® (“Windows® Relations Analysis”) does not take over the crossing of texts, these places were denoted by double angular brackets [[....]].
As an analytical method, the “shape tree” and the “network graphics” of the GABEK® method (“Graceful management of complexity: A PC-assisted knowledge organization method”) were used with the computer support of WinRelan®. No other tools of this process were used.
