With the project “Further development of vocational schools to regional vocational training centers (ReBiz)”, the state of Bremen has initiated a reform process with the aim of strengthening the self-management of vocational schools.
The focus of the subproject ReBiz III described here are examples that show how colleagues from two vocational training centers in Bremen and Bremerhaven have proposed, selected and initiated priorities and measures for organizational development.
For the implementation of the subproject ReBiz III, the GABEK® method (GAnzheitliche Bundung von Komplexität) with computer support by WinRelan®, developed by Prof. Dr. Josef Zelger, was used. Based on interviews with teachers and school leaders, the process leads to a deeper understanding of the overall situation in schools via the networking and systematization of all opinions and shows what is particularly relevant in the sense of the desired school development.
The project was carried out on behalf of the Senator for Education and Science Bremen and was co-financed by European Union funds.
